What suspension does my car have?

I just picked up a 09 factory jcw with 40000 miles on it and was wondering what suspension my car has. Car seems to be lowered a little, but I could be wrong. Reason I am asking is the car seems to have quite a bit of torque steer in 1st and 2nd slamming the pedal. Before trying to solve this issue, I first would like to see what I'm starting with. If any of you have the resources my VIN is WMWMS93509TK19542. Please let me know what I have and what are possible solutions to fix the problem...thanks guys!

We have OEM part numbers in our parts catalog here. As for the torque steer, I'd check and make sure you don't have abnormal tire wear. You can test this by rotating the tires and seeing if the way the car steers changes. Also could be due to worn suspension components so checking out those will give you an idea as well. We just got in an JCW as well and will be doing a lot of DIY content on it soon. So if you find something you want to fix and would like a DIY guideline, let us know! Otherwise, we have a list started here.

Yes, possible standard suspension , if it still has the stickers on the strut , you can see if it says Cooper S Sport, most likely you have the standard suspension . Sport Its the same ride height as non sport, just stiffer.

I dont see it either, looks like a Chili red R57 JCW someone could have added the JCW tuning kit suspension with the red springs 10mm drop. Or an aftermarket option.

I was looking for option 226 on the build specifications obtained from the BMW VIN Decoder. I guess they don't list the option because it's standard equipment on 2nd Gen JCW models.

BTW ... the NAM VIN Decoder lists generic options, some of which are incorrect (eg. compact spare tire under Exterior).

Yea, its not a JCW Tuning suspension , its stock and not on lowering springs. Those little white stickers look faded, get a pic close to those sticker on the strut and that will tel you more. '

Thanks for the pics.

Just went to look at the stickers and they are faded completely. So the question is...What can I do to help the torque steer without breaking the bank?
