Colors and Interiors

What do people think about color combinations and interiors? What are your favorites? What about the sidewalk package?

How about the malt brown English leather upholstery? Black panther leather? Blue leather? Cordoba?

Dashboards: anthracite, silver, blue etc?

Post pictures!!!

Personally, I like lightning blue with black bonnet stripes, black topic, black leather, and anthracite dashboard. I also like pepper white with a black top, no stripes. I don't like the blue leather, and the blue dashboard is just ok. I don't like the chrono meter and think it's pointless. I would also go with leatherette over cloth and I don't understand the point behind the leather, cloth combo.

Discuss...

You'll probably get more response in the 1st Gen Cabrio thread, since what you describe (sidewalk, chrono etc) are not options that will be aailable in the R57.

When it comes to interior design, the car looks smarter and striking to all buyers. The black leather and off white color of seats and dashboards are the best for me. These Mondeal blue metallic interior's rocks. Take a look at this...

$4k for the sidewalk package has one drawback according to the poll I took with the ladies in the office. They HATED the leather color in the package. You'd think the owner would be given the option of picking their color.
Many don't want 'cow brown' leather in a non-brown car.
Yes, the package is nice, except for that little item.

It looks much better in person.

Still, not for the conservative MINI driver.

Whoever that might be.

Once you go Malt Brown, you never go back.

Of course, I hear the last batch of Sidewalks is Panther Black.

Hey, if the leather will be cow brown, why not make it brown and white!
That I could dig.

Just happened to run across this thread, and I have to tell ya that it's the Malt Brown leather in the Sidewalk Pkg. that I want so badly in the Clubman! It looks fantastic in person (very rich) and compliments the Sidewalk exterior colors beautifully! I've seen it with Sparkling Silver, White Silver, and Pepper White --all look great! If there was any way I could have special ordered one of those combos on my Clubbie (even at an additional cost), that's exactly what I'd be driving now! Oh well, different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I heard also, maybe it's right maybe not, from a MINI dealer that the MALT Brown is no more.

There was a Sidewalk Mini in the showroom when i was buying my car. The interior looks better in person. I am not a big convertible fan but that car looks slick.
