Mr Kart did you ever consider putting a pic of your special Leopard suit in your sig? That would draw alot of attention!

 

I think that whole episode has had quite enough attention drawn to it, don't you???

 

I mean have hi-res versions it you want it for something else. I offered the art somewhere else and I'm not sure people got it...it is R56 Cooper line art w/ color added in Photoshop layers. One could literally recreate any R56 Cooper color scheme and tailor-make art of their exact MINI!!

 

I got to say it was one of the funnier things I saw on here. At least you took it in good style.

The plane's stripes aren't quite oxy blue, but they're REALLY close. I didn't really realize how close until they were parked together last week. When spring time rolls around again we're going to park Grover (the plane) and Blue Belle out in our bluebonnet patch for some really cool pics.

Yes, Grover is a 1959 Piper PA22/20 aka a Piper Pacer.

 

Nice looking plane. I hear that type has quite a following. I've talked to guys at Oshkosh that have had their Pacers for over 40 years.

 

Thanks. Airplane people (my husband included) can be almost as rabid about their planes as we are about our MINIs. Grover has been a member of our family almost 10 years now. He was our "baby" way before we had "real" kids.

i would have responded sooner but i've been out in cali chasing disney characters and fishies at the aquarium of the pacific...

i was def gonna jump in and say it doesn't 'quite' match... lol... i really don't need an airplane... i've spent quite enough time in planes lately... i didn't enjoy the tiny pack of gum we flew in from dallas to baton rouge, i'm pretty sure i wouldn't enjoy that pack of chiclets... lol..

it is a pretty color blue tho... :-D

 

Saw O2 Blue in person for the first time at the LA Autoshow. It's deeper than I thought it would be. Deffinitly a nice color. Now if only it's still availible come June when I decide to keep or sell my '03 Cooper.....and it's gotta win a coin toss with Nightfire Red.....

 

I used to fly alot. Had my pilots license before I had my drivers license. I'm still interested in flying buy haven't flown in over 20 years. I may get my sailplane rating at some point. I think that would be fun.

 

Blue Skies 05 has been deep in the world of teaching since September! I scan the site briefly about once a week.

Not to fear, I still love Tawanda even if she is experiencing the odd locking/windows down/sunroof opening issues. She has an appt Tues to get a control module installed.

I have spotted TWO OBs up here in Puget Sound over the past two months. I go by NW MINI's lot early on Sunday mornings about twice a month, and have never seen one on their lot, though.

O2 Blue is the coolest new Mini color!! Whenever I get a new mini that's the color I'm gonna get.

I do love OB more and more everyday. And, I'm quite happy and surprised that MINI kept her in the color line-up for 08.

OB reminds me of my 1971 Grabber Blue Mustang. Great memories of a HS graduation present which I sold to pay for a Europe trek.
