Nice!!!!! You are in for a very exciting week!!!!! I got to see my OB/W MINI the night before I took delivery because one of the MAs was staying late and let me sneek into the make-ready area. It was sly, devious fun...but I was so excited I really didn't sleep much that night. It was, btw, the first time I'd seen an OB MINI!!

Hi everyone! I am new to here but have had my baby for about 7 months now....I cant believe it! She is of course an Oxygen Blue with a white top and I have the premium package for her. Her name is Dory like from Finding Nemo. I am going to tint her very soon and put some kind of striping also.

Is Oxygen Blue a woman's car. I like the color but it seems that the majority of the owners here are women.

I think it would be a good color for where I live (Long Beach, NY). It seem like a nice beach town car

dipset...you don't have to be a woman to own an OB/W/B, all you have to do is LOVE the car!!! I might have gone for another color had they not been charging $500 for it. Molly will be coming home on Saturday, I'll post pics. if I can figure out how to.

I don't think so. To me it's very "irie" ... sort of an ocean blue, which is perfect for the beach. Could even get some hawaiian car seat covers to complete the look. Maybe add some retro and wood accents?

Instead of white roof, mirrors and stripes, you could go with black ... Even black out some of the trim.

OB was so similar to classic Mini Island Blue that that's all I ever saw or considered. I'm a guy, and I love that classic color on my new MINI. FWIW, MINI designers were inspired by Gulf-liveried Porsches of the late 60s-early 70s in formulating Oxygen Blue. It's hardly a gender-specific color (if there is such a thing).

Well, there ya go! Well said by two OB owners. I don't even HAVE mine, yet, but every time I see a pic of an OB (thanks, OXYBLUE--great pics and love the checkered mirors and stripes), I almost get goosebumps!

Can't wait, can't wait !

I thought so, but still in limbo. I'm not sure it's even made it to the VDC ... Waiting to hear back from my MA.

Anyway, I'm glad RJ is picking hers up. We've been tracking each other's progress since we ordered. Here's to hoping we don't hear from her for a few days--That means she got hers and is motoring away!

Carolina...Molly will be picked up in 47deg. Weather w/Rain/Snow Showers predicted. The only place I plan to go is HOME Safe & Sound. Introduce Molly to her new surrounds and maybe not drive her again 'til Tuesday when Temps. are a bit more MINI Friendly!!
Wimpy, YES I know, but she's MY 1st Brand New Car...so I'm already getting a bit peranoid!!!

I fully understand! Sorry to reply so late. We've got a problem with this laptop ... modem problem. Can't get it to work at home, so I'm at Starbucks, checking in!

Bet you have her home now, safe and sound! Pics in the snow would be lovely, but not safe! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Latest news on mine. STILL AT THE PORT as of yest. They say they are going to expedite it. I hope so. Looks like NEXT weekend now ... I hope.

Carolina and Gokartride...Molly is tucked away safe and sound in HER Garage!! We made it home just in time too, the hail started right after we had gotten home. No Snow just off and on HAIL, yeah HAIL...what time of year is it anyway??
I've been trying to get her computer set up, Hubby has been assigned to the Universal Garage Door Opener!!
Delivery went Great!! Free Carpeted Floor Mats were included!! The WeatherTech was have been installed, but to get FREE Mats is GOOD!!!
I think she has less than 50Mls on her!!!
Carolina keep us posted, I hope you have as much fun, she's a BLAST to drive, Hubby will be taking her out tomorrow, weather permitting, needs to feel comfortable in her, since he'll have her after he drops me off at work Monday.

Yes, I said HAIL, but thankfully it started after we had gotten home. Getting acquainted has been so much FUN...we took a 70+ Mile trip today down south to Fry's Electronics. Hubby got an 80g iPod and I got a 8g Nano. They BOTH sound awesome!! As we were leaving I was working on the Computer Set-up and it started to HAIL again...luckily it was short lived and we only had showers on the way home. FUNNY thing though the Auto-Wipers had us quite amused, I couldn't figure out how to turn them off!! AND the Rear Wiper has a mind of its OWN!!

I had to fiddle with some of the switches myself at first, but soon it was all second nature and now I think it's just plain cool!!!
