Has anyone received a MINI Welcome gift from MINIUSA?
This question is address to those who just got their 2007 MINIS. Back in the 2002-2003 those who bought their car received in the mail a Welcome Gift from MINIUSA; I am wondering if this apply to the R56 models.

Maybe they are just behind or slow....I have a 2006 MCS that I picked up on November 20th, and I just got my MINIUSA welcome gift pack Monday.

I haven't gotten anything yet either and I bought my 07 MCS at the beginning of March. When I bought the 06 I got a black box with all kinds of goodies in it, like games to play in the car, little booklets, etc....hope they do something like that for the 07's

i got the parking stencil about the same time my car went into production, around the last week of February. Speaking of which, I'm not sure where it went...
This "black box" you speak of. Did you get that when you picked up the car, or was it shipped to you?
I would imagine having all your info up-to-date inside the Owner's Lounge helps, especially if this stuff is sent out by MiniUSA and not the dealership.

The welcome packs were sent for 2004-2006 models as well, not just 02-03. I got mine in the mail a month or two after I picked up my 06. My MA also sent me a tin of cookies from a local bakery a few weeks after I picked up the car. I didn't get anything between ordering and pick-up. Give it time, I'm sure they are doing something similar for the R56!

It came about 3 or 4 months after I got the 06...still haven't heard about anything like that for the 07

I received a black box from MINIUSA about 2 months after buying my '06. It had a notebook/pen (in which I document mods/adventures); some window signs ("nice smile", "let's motor", etc.); some stick-on tattoo things (presumably because I got the 'vert ~ put them on, drive top-down, take them off and have MINI tan lines); MINIUSA business cards to pass out to ogglers who want to build their own dream MINI online; a few "roadtrip games" to play; and a thank you card.
A couple weeks after that I received another black box...the one with the 3-D goggles and such. I'll gladly send that to anyone who wants one but didn't receive it. It remains unopened.
And 3 weeks after that, my Salesguy gave me a Zoomers exhaust with free installation for being his "most difficult, picky, pain-in-the-*** customer".
Call me whatever names you want, MrSalesguy...just keep those gifts coming!
Zoomers ROCKS!
