Looks like i might be a week 13 too?? I'm not an 56 though, just a regular old cooper convertible. She has completed production, so the automated system says. I called up the 866 and they told me its in Quality check!

 

jyarrow: thanks for the offer of picking up my car. I think you will have to wait since many others have also volunteered to help me :-)

I have to talk with mu MA as I may have them hold the car until I get back

 

I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding dozens of volunteers to take delivery of your MINI and babysit until you get back.

 

wow our thread has grown quite a bit. I found out today that i am in the paint shop! woo still slated for the 30th so i am hoping to hope on that boat leaving on the 9th. sounds like we may be shipmates robin

Automated ASK-MINI says production is complete and it is waiting for transport to the port.

 

Just called, mine is in Paint shop, also slated for 30th.!!.

 

Robin maybe you will be lucky enough to squeeze on the ship leaving the 2nd. Djam everyone else is passing us by but we only have a few more days to wait. be strong

 

I too specced the NAV-- maybe that is why the delay!!

 

I also ordered the Nav. The 28th was the estimated completion date from when it started production. So, it is on time. My car was originally ordered on 3/12.

When did you all order?

 

mine was ordered on Feb 22 initially, but I changed a few parameters since then, such as Color, (trim ,all WOOD )and NAV +Parking control option. new ordering date after all that was March 6th.!!

Ok, i might as well post up. I ordered my mini on March 10. It was done being produced March 25. And when i called Ask Mini a few minutes ago, it said it was being transported to the port of exit. So hopefully it gets put on a ship that is leaving Really soon.

To the west coast. I'm in So Cal. I ordered mine through Brecht Mini. So i guess i can expect a little longer boat ride.

 

Sounds like we may end up on the same boat. Mine is also waiting for transport to the port. It is heading to MINI of Mountain View (Silicon Valley).

 

YeY!! Just checked. ( IN FINAL ASSEMBLY) and (QA INSPECT ). looks like everything is on schedule!!

 

Automated ASK MINI says, "Your vehicle is at the port, awaiting a shipping vessel." Really hoping to get on the Integrity on Saturday. Hope we all get on it together.

 

Mine is also at the port, and beyond where ASK-MINI has info. Hopefully my MA will know what ship it is going on.

Update: MA doesn't know when it will get on a ship, and said to ask again in a week. Then he should have an arrival date.
