Alright guys, I just got back from the dealer. My car should be here friday, I just got the Purchase order. I mentioned the MSFW and there was no question about the deduction. I cant wait until friday!

 

Yours was on ISOLDE, right? Has it landed? Does your dealer know when it is schedule to be processed?

My MA said probably the 8th or 10th, but was just guessing.

 

Hey that's great stranger. When you say Friday, it'll be at the dealers or you'll pick it up? One other question, remind me again about the MSFW. Is that something I should be asking about when we pick up?

 

FYI: On the Port of Hueneme's website, they have updated Isolde's schedule to show that it will be unloaded today and tomorrow:

It's been that way for awhile. Ask MINI seems to think that is correct, but don't have any further info. Seems that the dealers should have delivery schedules in a few days.

 

alright everyone I picked up the car last night ( I know I know pics) and have been following the controversial drive it like you always will. so plenty of WOT. push high RPMs then let the engine relax then push again. increasing the RPMs each time. The car is fast!!!

 

The WW website shows my car unloaded and delivered to the port today 5/3. It looks like this weekend is out of question. I'm hoping my car will be delivered to Crevier and ready for customer pickup by next weekend.

That's what mine says. That could be the date/time the ISOLDE completed unloading. Our cars could have been unloaded on the 1st or 2nd.

 

That's what mine says too. Now it all depends on how fast they can process the cars. Then how fast can Crevier take delivery and transport to Santa Ana.

It was on the ISOLDE and it shipped IN A FRICKIN DAY!!!!! JESUS CHRIST IM EXCITED.

 

Wow! I just got a voicemail from my MA that my car is ready for pickup, that's fast! However, I won't be able to do it until this Saturday.

 

They are coming. I have them I just cant connect my computer at work. soon i promise

Any other week 13ers on the ISOLDE get their cars?

 

No word from MINI of Mountian View. How did you get yours within 2-3 days of being unloaded? They must not do much to them at the VDC.

 

I can confirm that. I just had to take my new car to the Body shop at BMW so they could paint match my JCW kit that was supposed to be put on at the VDC. It will now go on monday morning, with my other JCW parts.

 

Haven't gotten mine yet, but I think it is going to be any day now. I ordered a number of dealer accessories, so that will probably slow things down for me.

As an aside, I live in Orange County but I ordered it from South Bay Mini. So far, I have to say that Amanda from South Bay has been a very good MA. She has put up with my many, many emails, questions, comments with such patience and knowledge, it's been impressive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her at all.

 

yeah it shipped 1 day after it arrived at the VDC. I'll take pics on sunday... the dealership was suprised as well, they had never received a batch that fast.

 

I picked up my PW MCS last night at Crevier. It was one of the best car buying experiences I ever had. Kudos to my MA, Dana. Will post pictures once I have a chance to take them.

 

Hey Week 13. Are all of you West Coasters finally getting your cars? I think I say in another thread that Robin's car finally made the trip up Highway 1. It must have spent a couple nights in Big Sur. Let's see your pics!

 

I pick it up Thursday. May Thor be pleased and smiling down upon the occasion.

I should be able to come up with some good photos, but don't plan taking my camera to the dealer's. I want to concentrate on my checklist.

 

I got home really late Saturday night, Sunday I was a walking zombie with the 12 hr time difference, so I only sat in the car, but yesterday I got to finially drive my car. I think I'm offically the last week 13er to drive his/her own car

Since I never drove stick before I only drove it up and down the drive way (I have a 200 foot driveway). Today after work I will drive around the block
