R56 R56 Week 13 Production Group - What Luck!

When you register they ask for work and personal email. When they sent me my login information, they said my login was my work email address. That didn't work, so I tried the personal email and it did work. Good luck!
Isolde now seems to be anchored or docked in the Christobal Anchorage -- probably waiting her turn for passage through the lock. This data may be a few hours old. Good time to start watching the web cam:

If you happen to catch it, take screen captures for the rest of us. I've got to head out to do some shopping.

No I don't belong here, but maybe I can answer your question

Yeah, I never got an email confirmation from them when I signed up. I just figured they had me pegged as "one of those no good MINI guys" from the start.
Go Isolde Go!
Is the ISOLDE still stuck in the Panama Canal? The WW site shows that it left the canal on 4/21!
I suspect the WW site just turns the item red based on the scheduled date, not updating with reality.
I could be wrong here, but I suspect the Port the ships stop at in Panama is just before the actual canal near the city of Colon (yes Colon, with an acsent above the O). So the WW website will mark that stop red as it leaves to enter the canal. I original thought the Panama stop was after the canal, but additional research showed the stop is at the Manzanillo Port near the city of Colon.

She seems to be on the move again. Looks like she is headed towards the Miraflores Locks. She may show up in the Centennial Bridge web cam soon.

West Coast Maerskies
I'm jumping back and forth between this thread and the Maersk Wave thread...
Spoke with my MA this morning in person. He seemed to think I was looking at two weeks for delivery. Our MINI is suppose to unload today, spend some time at the VDC (anyones guess) and then up to Portland, OR. Knock on wood there are no hold-ups. I don't know if that has any translation for other folks around the west coast but I thought I'd share.
Even if it cleared the VDC quickly, wouldn't a MINI have to wait for enough cars to load on a truck for a specific destination?
Oh, while I was waiting to talk with my MA, I spent some time sitting in the floor models just taking in the scenery. Haven't sat in one since we ordered in February. If there were any doubts before, sitting in one sure makes you a believer again!

From what I've gathered from others members who picked theirs up at our dealership, they do give wide estimates. Better to surprise with an early delivery date than disappoint with a late arrival. But it did take about two weeks for the last bunch to get theirs. That was with a supposed backed-up-VDC. It all comes down to that VDC, the last hurdle before the great MINI bliss and beyond...
