12,000 kms here since June...that's something like 7,000 milesish? A few chips and a flake out of the windshield....but that's not bad considering I've been tearing sideways down little, tree-lined country roads!

So...I did a little searching on the CA DMV site and discovered that "CINMINI" was available. I took the plunge and Cini or Cinnie should have new plates in only 12 to 16 weeks.

I'm thinking that the database needs to be updated...she is nameless no longer. :-)

I'm on the phone now trying to get my wife plates for her birthday

LJC ESQ

Yes, it's kind of awful, she has become a full-fledge conceited attorney, but it will make her happy

I wanted personalized plates, but the state of Texas has decided they really do not want to do them anymore, so they charge and arm and a leg and your first new born if you want them.

Of course, Canadians, by default, run amok. But you are a registered amokian. There be one NFR who is not registered!

And an unregistered NFR can be dangerous, to themselves and others around them! We must find this loose lint baller before lint over comes the unsuspecting soul nad they become another casualty of overstuffing!

let me guess where everyone went-you went to track down this maverick NFR person, ended up at a camp by a lake and were slashed up by a dude in a hockey mask? or just still in a turkey coma?

Ran across this comment in the *cough** oxygen blue *cough* forum (as if that was a color!).

I don't know about the rest of you weirdos, but I for one, WEAR THE NAME PROUDLY -- especially since I get to drive the best looking MINI!

Ya have to consider that gokartride thinks leopard print is awesome.

And he calls us wierd. LOL!

The nature of the colors of the cars is what draws different types of peeps. OB is a nice conservaticve color that blends well into the crowd. NFR screams, "I HAVE ARRIVED AND THERE AIN't DIDDLY SQUAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!"

A bit outlandish....PHWHAPPPP! GOT THAT *****! DARN LINT *****!,,,a bit fun and pretty outspoken.

Besides,..no need for accessorizing our color. It stands on its own merit. I am sort of glad our color does not remind someone of a mechanical pencil or a Mustang.

My first encounter with the local club was a fun run out to run of the local lakes. I arrived later than most so everyone was standing out in the parking with 30 or so Minis parked around them. It was an awesome site to see. As I pulled into the parking lot, EVERYONE watched me drive around them and pull into my spot. I was scared to death to get out of my car because it was SO INTENSE!!!! Turns out it wasn't me.... It was the NFR! They had never seen one and it stopped them dead in their tracks! That's when I knew... My Mini was soooooo special!

I've had my Rosie two months now and I love this color more every day. I still haven't seen another one so I think I'm pretty unique in the Atlanta area.

I sure do get a lot of really postive comments on the color and a lot of people stop me in the parking lot, gas station, etc. to ask lots of questions, especially about the color.

There's not one thing I would change on this car and even if I had all the money in the world to spend I can't imagine another car I would be as happy with.

Just curious - any idea how many NFRs on this board?

Gretchen

Wow Gretchen! The tan interior really looks great! It looks like we have the same options inside but I went with grey but now seeing your car, I don't know. Hmm....

Can't answer how many NFRs there are. Apparently there is an old guy with a database somewhere. If you type slowly so he can understand, he might be able to answer.

I had a birthday last weekend, but I'm not sure I would classify myself as OLD? Hahaha...But I don't think I'll ever be OLD? Hahaha...otherwise I wouldn't be driving a MINI!

Gretch...at this point, I have 21 NFR MINIs registered into the database, but not all of them are confirmed (no pics, no descriptions, car names or confirmed orders). Some people came on and just said, "I ordered one" and never came back..they have a tentative foothold into the database.

I sometimes pull up beside another MINI, and they don't even recognize Bubbles as another MINI...NFR is totally on it's own in this mixed up, crazy world...and really, WHO CARES>>>>weeeeeee
