"Lightning Charlie".....

I picked her up on Tuesday night...and oh my....she is even more beautiful than I thought she would be! Many people have asked me why I named her "Lightning charlie"...well....Lightning just came to me because of the silver color...and Charlie cause I always thought it was an awesome name for a chick.

I got her from Desert Mini here in Vegas. I have to tell you....my MA, John, is AWESOME! From the very start, he could not do enough for me and my husband....truly made us feel like 'friends' instead of customers! My husband is used to dealing with BMW dealerships...and he was completely impressed by John. The day I picked up LC (lightning Charlie), he spent almost 3 hours with me just going through all the bells and whistles on the MC. Never again will I ever even consider going to another dealership. They made a customer for life!!! This is my first Mini....and certainly not my last!

I have had a blast the last three days. Her specs are: PS/B...cold weather package...premium package...DSC...and so many other things I haven't been able to figure out how to work!

Charlie is indeed a beaut. When I look at pictures like this the squabbles about whether the R65 is prettier than prior models seem so silly. Blondes, brunettes, redheads, whatever.... Charlie is a beaut !

Oh my...you guys are hilarious!

As far as the cold weather package...we have had some really chilly mornings here for the last three months ....so I figured why not. And the heated seats do feel really good in the morning! (I am from NYC and my blood has thinned out since I have been here!!!!)

Charlie is automatic....and the interior is black leather and grey. I'll take some pics of the interior and post them soon.

She sure does ride like a dream.
