VIN last 5 digits

If you need to find out last 5 digits of your car VIN number and your car is bluetooth equipped, you can go into Bluetooth settings and the name of your Bluetooth will be there as "MINIxxxxx", where xxxxx are last 5 digits of the VIN number.

I have the blutooth access on my '08 - really nice for calls. Gonna try the mood color when I leave work! Thanks y'all!

Just found out that if you quickly tap the window switches it rolls up itself, even when going up. Sweet! Very convenient!

I used to own a bimmer, when u release the brake and the fraction of a second before u let go off the clutch, the car starts to roll back. Not on my Mini.

That's the BEST feature on the Mini!!!!!
My 2013 MCS auto does this... funny the auto does this!

Also if you push in the designed plastic strip on the passenger side right above the glove box button next to the fan. Its behold a secret compartment! Favorite part of this thing. (:

OK, folks... your assignment tonight is to find the VERY secret key hiding place for when you go jogging, or streaking (e.g., no pockets). Tip, it's not in your manual, but if you go to your MINI Owners' Lounge, you can find the answer.

That's probably a secret in itself, you didn't know there was a MINI Owners' Lounge right?

Go thru the "menu" on the radio till you see phone -I'm not in my car now but you'll figure it out. Did you get an extra small booklet with your owners manual? Check it out-see what you can find

With my 07 with comfort access if I lock the car using the metal key and leave the fob out of sight in the car it won't unlock with the buttons on the door handles.

Nice! Add that to the list of things I didn't know about my R56. I'll have to try that.

I'd be interested to know if they've kept that feature in the newer R56's.
