A question.... any way of telling what Production Week a car is manufactured in by looking at the VIN????

 

I don't think so - the only part of the VIN that varies throughout the year is the chassis number (last seven digits). The rest of the VIN is determined by model year, car model, manufacturing location, etcetera.

I don't think that the chassis numbers are totally sequential, either. I remember looking up the other MINIs that were coming over on the same boat as mine, and the chassis numbers were all over the place.
