MFSW - Wood and shift ****

I ordered the wood trim and MFSW in wood (part of package). Does any one know if this includes wood shift **** and wood trim on brake?

Lucky.

The leather ones don't. You have to buy the wheel, shift boot and handbrake covers separatly.

Dose anybody have a pic of the wood ****, or brake? Is it wood on the auto too, or just manual shifter?

Picked up a brochure today - Nice - 87 pages. On the interior surfaces page (page 65) it says:

"As an option, the interior surfaces and door handles are available in English Oak. Where this option is specified, the door ring is in Piano Black."

On page 68 with the optional steering wheels it says:

"A 3-spoke sport steering wheel with a wooden rim (supplied with a gear lever **** in wood veneer) is available as an option."

My car will be here in a couple of weeks complete with wooden rim steering wheel. Somewhere within this past few days I saw a picture of a R56 with that wooden gear shift **** and thought, I've gotta have one of those for my car. Needless to say, page 68 brought a big smile to my face.

no wood steering wheel

Any one heard if the wood **** and brake will still be part of the car even though the wood wheel has been removed (pulled). I have the oak trim as well and would be quite disappointed if they did not think enough to say hey still looks good with the wood shift **** and brake handle lets keep it in there!

My MA told me that he will get the wood shift **** for my car even as the wooden wheel is missing, will take some time, but will be done he assured me.

BTW picked up my car 2/24 w/o the wood wheel as ordered even states wood wheel on the window sticker, great car but a bad taste in my mouth with this wheel fiasco!!!!

Yes I ordered the oak trim, chromeline interior, and the cloth checkered black seats, It looks fantastic. I combined this with SS/B exterior for a more "buttoned down" or classicly styled look. That is why the wood wheel is so important to me it completes the whole interior IMO

I suspect that in reality no one will really know until the cars arrive at the dealers.
