I've been told that the 12th is my drop-dead day for changing specs on my R56 order... so there's a possibilty that I'm looking at production week 3. Not confirmed enough yet to start an official "Production Week 3 Support Group" post... but getting close.

Anybody in the US know for sure that your car is in production week 1, 2 or 3? Just curious.

 

When you say production week 1,2 or 3 do you mean the 1st, 2nd or 3rd week of January? Or, of course, the 1st, 2nd or 3rd week of the year. Anyway, I was told that my Mini should be completed this next week by Friday. I think that I read a post fo yours earlier; are you still doubting your spec? I was, and still am as well. I really liked your spec for what it's worth. I also really like the laser blue pics from Ireland etc... What I'm kinda' getting at is that I would probably like to have at least three new Mini but that's not gonna' happen. One of my three would have the redwood red interior though.

im production week 2.. as of friday I was in line for paint.

 

I ordered a Pure Sliver MCS Convertible on 1-02-07 and it began production on 1-06-07. ASK MINI said next stop is the Paint Shop.

 

I'm supposed to be week 3. I'm counting the days. Why oh why do we torment ourselves this way? I wasn't this bad during pregnancy!

Received my production # today, with prod week of Feb 19th.

I tried to go into the owners lounge and it didn't 'know' my prod number. Timing I guess.

 

I had problems signing in to the owner's lounge, and had to go to MINI for help. All's well now, but it didn't "know" mine, either, until then.

 

Just talked to an MA at eastbaymini.com who informed me that my MCS started production yesterday (1/8/07). Pardon me while I...

I have my production number and have been monitoring my MINI on the MINIUSA but I do not have a VIN yet. My MA at East bay MINI told me that my MINI would begin production in in the 3rd week of Jan. Anyone have an idea as to where I can find out more info? I have called 1-888-ASK-MINI and the voice recorder just says scheduled for production with no confirmed date.

Owner's lounge shows my Cooper S as "awaiting transportation" as of 01/10/07. Before 01/10/07 owner's lounge was showing "scheduled for production". I've been checking daily since getting my VIN. On the thread "How to track your MINI" it says that you can right click on the "Where's your baby?" on the owner's lounge page and "view source" and get more information, but I am uanable to do this. I am checking daily on the progress of my Pepper White/Black Cooeper S.

I have a MY/MY MCS awaiting transport since 01/08/2007. Pre ordered since Oct, finalized 12/1

 

Yes, it showed up on ww site, then when it left Southhampton it showed up on Sailwx.info site once I knew the vessel name. Pulling up the ship bill of lading, it had 44 Minis on it, including mine.

 

Anyone know when a Week 10 build might expect to get a production number?

 

I think you get the most current information by calling 1-866-ASK MINI. They will ask for your production number or the last 7 digets of your VIN and they will tell you where in production it is. I call daily. Give it a try its a 24/7 system.

 

I ordered 12/13, and I still don't have a production week, although I do have a production number. Something about a "Production Pack" is all that shows when I call. How come I'm behind some of you guys who ordered around the same time?
