Seen a few pics of the interior. Haven't seen any center armrest.

Are they gonna hack it out again so they can make it an option a few years down the road?

Unacceptable to not have one, at least in my eye. I will NEVER go back.

 

The SB MINI with the white interior at the Paris Auto Show had a MINI center armrest. Chin up!!!

 

Still an option from what I've read in PR materials and u.K. mini forums. I use the door arm rest more often than the one inbetween, so doesn't bother me much. It's kind of odd though the things you'll find as "options" for Mini.

 

My center arm rest is a black and silver 15-CD case that fits almost perfectly between the two seats. It cost $8 at the local Target (and is removable.)

 

Yes...MINI without armrest...BAD!
