Per Northwest Mini in Washington State:

When my spot in line comes up in October-November, I will go in a scec out the car with all the packages, color and other accessories I want. They expect to have a 2007 demo around that same time. Projected arrival/delivery is February-March 2007.

No specific prices yet, but the suggestion was MSRP (whatever that turns out to be) plus $599.

Doesn't look like this dealer gets in too many cars that are not pre-ordered and spec'd out by customers. They had about 14 or 15 2006 cars on the lot when we were there. One was the dealer's demo. One was a cancelled order. The rest were spoken for. They didn't have a fleet of new cars on the lot to choose from... but a dozen used ones here and there. I would expect the 2007's to be the same way.

It depends on the dealer. The dealer I am working with has a no markup policy so it's best to check with your dealer and see what their terms are.

I was put on a pre-waiting list w/o having to put a deposit down. I think I am 5th on the list. Once you can officially order October or November I will go back in and place the official order along with a deposit. The dealer said it would be MSRP for the price. The dealer was Mini of Sterling Va

We are all talking about MSRP plus a bogus document prep fee or something right? I asked my MA if they could just give me the price less title, tax and tags but no... So my price will be MSRP + $399 BPF(bogus/profit fee) + tax, title & tags.

Maybe the standard here should be the difference between MSRP+title, tax, tags and what we all pay? In my case +$399.
