Oil leaking

Recently I discovered oil leaking fwd left of center as below.
I could just barley get a picture with left side lifted a bit.
I had just changed the oil so I checked to see if oring was in filter t was.
today the oil on the floor was a light colored oil?
the picture below it was obvious the oil was being blown around while driving so not sure, except it is leaking.
Could this be the vacuum pump? Just under 100 K 2009 hatchback.

That looks like the bottom of the transmission and bell housing… there are so many components above that spot that have oil going through them. My gut says possibly oil filter housing, which is right above that spot.

My suggestion would be to clean it really good, let it dry, then keep an eye on it from below next up top to try and find where it’s coming from.

Seemed at first the oil was darker I had wiped off that area & moved the car further into garage switched vehicles.
& the oil I found leaking was very light color so did not appear to be engine oil.
I may check clutch oil reservoir either was a simple fix is unlikely!

The ribbed canister is for ?
Yes there is a lot of bits right there, the oil canister appears dry.
whilst the oil pan is not needs replacement not sure if oil would wick up wards or not?

That "canister" in the middle of the picture is the auxiliary water pump. Electrically powered, it runs coolant through the turbo after shut down until temp gets below a certain threshold.

That has oil drips on bottom edge so oil is coming from above that pump appears?

the oil filter housing where do they leak is there a seal to the block?

there is also what appears clutch/brake fluid below the bell housing so could be more than one leak.

Has any one changed the oil pan?
obviously not good quality quite rusty oil leaking in several places.

looks like the muffler flex pipe under the oil pan needs to be disconnected.
