The "Official" name is "Charge Air Line #9"

Unfortunately, Mini does not sell just that rubber tube on its own.

There are many aftermarket options available:

If you want an OEM replacement, I would go to Ebay.

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ed-gen-ii.html - good maintenance routine for these
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...07-2013-40470/ - how to's for this generation

Keep an eye on the oil, these N14's like to burn it. There are tons of threads on the woes of the N14, i have 152,xxx on mine and she runs like a top, im pretty **** about keeping the oil topped off and changed every 5k. My next oil change, I'm going with Liqui Moly's suggestions, email from one of their engineers, and going to Flush it, then their 5w-40 oil and motor oil saver and a bottle of jectron in the gas tank. I will be doing it 2k shy of 5k due to the fact that it is pretty dark already and she wont be seeing anymore dragon time this year, so this next change will most likely last till spring time.

just got this one for my 16 year old daughter. It’s truly a nice car but we have 5 Honda’s man and I’m use to just putting gas in them and maybe a light bulb here or there. I can do a lot of this stuff by myself so that’s a plus. Shy of pulling a transmission or something. Thanks again for the help. I keep the oil topped off. You’re right it does consume it. I had to add a half quart yesterday but it’s due for an oil change which I’m going to to sat along with...

high pressure fuel pump
diverter valve
temperature sensor and lead
oil change
plugs
all 4 coils.
check to make sure all the air hoses are tight. It has a 2885 code. Along with a few others. 🤦‍♂️🤪

the 2885 might be your DV, and you seem to be on the right track for some of the other maintenance items. Changing the transmission fluid and coolant isn’t too hard and there are videos on how to do. Only fluid I haven’t changed is the brake fluid, which I boiled this last weekend on the Dragon and will be flushing as soon as my power bleeder gets here.

Picking up a scanguage isn’t a horrible ideal either. This will allow you to watch temps that you don’t have a gauge for. Search the classifieds you should be able to find one used for under 100.

Have mine set for intake temp, boost, water and oil temps

Heath the hand held is nice but the scan gauge is for monitoring at all time while you go. The mini does not have a water temp gauge at all just the "you now have a blown head gasket light" It's nice to be able to monitor the life signs of the Mini motor at all times. Early warning can be a life saver.

I have been pretty lucky so far. I had a split in my coolant tank that caused the car to boil and lose coolant, I caught it early enough, but this caused me to buy the scanguage. Keeping an eye on temps eases my mind.
