How do you use Sport Mode?

Just that, on your MC how / when do you use the Sport button? Just curious how YOU use it when driving.

1. Get in car
2. Insert key and start
3. Buckle up
4. Sport mode
5. Turn DSC off if dry
6. Fog lights if needed

Do this anytime i drive the car.

Every morning when i go to start my car for the trip to work i turn the car on, turn on the lower fog lights, turn on sport mode, and let her warm up for a minute and drive off.

I do not have a tune right now and can only drive the car in sport mode. The throttle is trash without the sport mode activated. I drive a 2013 MCS

I have a non-turbo. When I try to blip the throttle to rev-match down shift, it is nearly impossible on standard mode. It feels like I have to have the pedal pushed forever before the revs run. Even when I push the "sport" mode it takes too long, but revs ramp significantly faster. I do love the 40+mpg on the highway though.

I rarely use it. My commute is very short and when the car is warmed up the pops get annoying after a while. The main reason I use it is for the heavier steering if I'm doing some fun turns.

If you need a tune with sport mode button to work you can get one from RPM, I have one it works great, 18 psi non sport, 22 psi sport, sport also remaps throttle to linear, so way more responsive. For you guys driving your car hard when the engine is cold be very careful, you can severely damage your engine when driving it hard when the oil is not up to temperature. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes of driving before your engine oil reaches normal running temperature, best to install an oil temp gauge and you can monitor it.

I never take it above 3k till it’s warm, which usually is the 5 min drive to highway. I hate the way the steering feels in non sport mode.

My R52S is sport mode. My co-pilot never engages sport mode on her R60 justa but the few times I drive it, I do, but it doesn't quite rise to what I'm used to.
