I don't know about the rest of you but I drive in sport mode always. So every time I get in the car, its the first thing I do...switch it to sport. Does anyone know if there is any way to set sport as default so I don't have to switch every time?

 

According to all prior posts on this subject the answer is no.

 

This is the only automatic way to turn on Sport Mode.

 

Install JCW coilovers...and forget about the sport button.

4.Before even the car fire up u press the sport button instant so you can enjoy a louder cold start...:D

The bad thing is that there isnt any coding with Carly that you can have sport button always on like Auto start/stop :(

 

Can select which mode to start the car in with Bimmercode or just to start the car in whichever mode was used last when you shut the car off

 

Bimmercode ... solves the problem. A lot of other neat things you can do as well. Well worth the price.

 

Just want to confirm that you can set default to sport mode or remember last mode with Bimmercode. I coded a number of things with Bimmercode. Works great - and, I've never had any issues.

I coded mine to make Sport mode the default since I seldom use the other modes.

I used Bimmercode for that and several other settings (e.g., mirrors fold on locking, warning notice no longer appear at startup and turned ASD off). Very easy to use and a lot that you can do to personalize the car.

 

Install the NM Engineering Exhaust and your sounds/crackles/pops will appear instantly and you also won't have to hit your bluetooth button! It is also lighter than the stock exhaust...
Both Mid Range and Sport Range and even Green Range sound netter IMO

 

You sure can. Gotta use BimmerCode. Plug in the dongle and takes about two minutes. Literally click two buttons and done. My car starts in whatever mode I last leave it in.

 

coded mine to start on Sport mode, and unplugged the valve to the pro exahust.....sounds so awesome on cold startup.

get Bimmercode app and dongle.
