Hey guys! I know I haven't posted in ages but I've been extremely busy and the whole freak out about Coronavirus really doesn't help. Over the past few months, I have done a number of things to my car. I got a set of OEM taillights because my cheap, but also really cool-looking, blacked out taillights shorted out and melted the plastic around the bulbs. One of the weird problems I've experienced is multiple spark plug failure. The term for how they broke is the insulators dropped out of them, but they did not fall into the cylinders; they just got caught in the threads. What I think was causing it is an extremely rich condition since the downstream O2 sensor had failed but was not revealing a check engine light all of the time. I also managed to purchase a used FJCW exhaust from the downpipe back, and it was so worth it. The sound over the stock exhaust is a zillion times better! Also, I had to get the coolant tank and cap replaced yesterday since my car was leaking coolant (been there, done that. I don't need to get stranded again) only to discover the tank had a crack in it. That honestly does not surprise me after it's been there for 12 years or so. Currently, I am going to be purchasing a new OEM diverter valve soon because the one I have had some of the plastic on the diaphragm broke. When I was doing my research of which version to buy, I have been told multiple times that the newest design won't work with the N14 in my car. Does anyone know why it won't work with the N14? If anyone wants pictures of anything that's been done to my car recently, I'll gladly post them here.
