It's not hard, i would look at the forge recirculation install instructions. The first part is how to take out the stock diverter. Which is removing intake tube, removing the 10mm bolt from coolent res and moving it over out of the way, three bolts, a vacuum hose(actually being on the wastegate to give a little more room), and an electrical connection.

What countrymanman said. I always use a bungee cord from my snake aquarium to hold the reservoir up and out of the way. I got four bungee cords holding that top piece down securely.

There were two design revisions, then the newest one above. Form the old to the new looks like the similar VW/audi DV design based off what I can see.

You could see the yellow diaphragm between the plunger and the main housing, now the end plunger is different and the diaphragm is behind the plastic housing.

This is a good thread on NAM about possible replacement DV's. Forge makes a great product. Didn't see a DIY anywhere, but it is a pretty simple job.

When i screw the dv back again, how will i know which way is the right way to place it on? Is there something to remember regarding the dv's orientation so that its mounted on correctly and not misplaced?

That's for the head of the three screws.

That's the orientation.
