Catalytic Converter & Liqui Moly Questoin!

I saw a lot of videos showing how to add the catalytic converter cleaner by sucking through engine (not dropping into fuel tank) but I couldn't find the specific way to do in Mini Cooper (2013 r56 S)!?
Which hose or from where to do that in mini cooper coz I couldn't find any hoses that can suck the cleaner and do the job...any idea..anyone can upload a photo showing???
Thank u

Why do you want to clean the catalytic converter?

The last I checked, there is no scheduled maintenance requirement for you to pull the exhaust manifold/catalytic converter assembly to clean it. If it was blocked, your vehicle wouldn't run, or you would experience a serious drop in engine performance.

If Cat fails, the important bits can be recycled and used again. Don't think cleaning is anything more than snake oil sales and then the DIY'er crowd looking to clean without snake oil purchases. As above, a blocked Cat would be causing all sorts of issues and idiot lights/codes.

Exactly what important bits are your referring to? The catalytic converter and the exhaust manifold are a welded assembly. Catalytic converters generate a lot of heat when chemically disposing of unburned hydrocarbons ... think self-cleaning oven. I'm thinking any snake oil stuff injected into the cat may compromise the catalyst.

Thanks for replies👍👍
I am checking some parts that may need to be replaced..I saw a rust on some of them..and it's ok for me if I could change any old or rusted parts..
I changed the transmission oil last time and faced a big problem but I fixed it..the oil was red-brown..pan seal was stuck! and 1 bolt broken..I was ready with new parts and thanks God I did the job and changed them all..thermostat leak..replaced..spark plugs..fuel filter was dirty black color..I cleaned the injectors (they were dirty)..now waiting for exhaust clamp ordered already (rusted)..gas cap (2 time warning to tite it and smelling gas inside the car when I full it) and ordered already..carbon cleaned by walnut blasting (by myself at home)...by the way I found where to add Liqui Moly to mainfold 😁 and the white smoke came out when ideling 2500 RPM..same hole (where to connect the hose to mainfold below/right side when facing the car)..
have a nice day..next check is with a DIY smoking machine

I dont think I would be running any "Cleaner" through the cat, I am pretty sure the factory cats are ceramic and if the cleaner causes excessive heat you could melt them and/or damage them due to excessive heat. I have seen diesel cats get some gasoline and its not pretty, they overheat and crumble apart

I’m confused, where exactly did you put the cleaner in at? You have a ‘13 R56 S, right? The primary catalytic converter on your car is on the downpipe coming off the back of the turbocharger. Then there’s a second one under the car. The only place you could pour anything into it would be through the upper O2 sensor bung. Unless you put it into your intake tract and sent it through the turbo, intercooler, intake manifold and through the cylinders themselves, out the exhaust valves, through the turbo again and then into your cat. Is this right? I would be leery of doing that if it was me, personally.
Sorry, I’m just trying to understand where you put it, you were not real specific.

Sorry man, after rereading what I wrote, it comes across as a bit condescending. That is totally not how I intended it at all, I’m genuinely confused. Do they actually say to put in the intake? I am fully on board with liquid moly, it’s what I use for my oil.
But that just doesn’t sound right to me for some reason.
