I picked up a barn find 2007 S from an 89 year old widow with 54,000 miles that is virtually indistinguishable from new.

The family is totally enjoying it and I'm very impressed with the way it drives.

My son burst my bubble when he pointed out the 6.1 0-60 is slower than my Sierra Denali at 5.7 and my wife's E550 Benz at 4.3:(

I'll post a pic later.

Welcome NAM.

First, you have the N14 engine and if you have read up on the matter suggest you do so. Be sure to change the oil every 5,000 miles and then change it every 5,000 miles.

Some of us here make runs on the Tail of Dragon that is a road in the Appalachians. On that road the Corvettes, Mustangs and Camaros let the MINIs go by and then try to keep up with them.

Yes I've been schooled on the engine problems and will take good care of it.

The Denali and Benz may be faster in a straight line, but they are boring in a straight line and simply horrifying trying to drive on a fun road....just saying that they aren't designed for the same purpose.
