Mini doesn’t offer an n14 without a/c.

Just remove your ac compressor and wrap a string around the pulleys bypassing the ac compressor. Measure the distance and order a custom belt or go to a parts store and order something that is the correct size with the proper amount of ribs.

Take a a look at the little diagram on pelican parts website. Just imagine it without the lower ac pulley.

Hey guys sorry for being MIA work was bonkers‘

Getting a smaller belt was my first idea I just wasn’t sure if anybody’s did it before’

But my main concern is the bottom of the black is going to be in the way of sorter the Balt. It pops out quite a bit On the corner

I’ve been using a smaller belt for the last 2 years now and have to replace it after it shreds every 5 months or so. And the belt can only be bought on eBay and I have only found one brand that has it🤦‍♂️

Couple years ago, Project SuperCooper posted in his FB group that he was able to find a belt after he removed his A/C. I recently used the same part number when I over-built my engine and had to remove the A/C. Local parts houses couldn't cross-reference it to a brand they carried, and couldn't find it in their Dayco catalog either. Don't know what jetsr6 is using, but here's the Amazon screenshot of the one I use ---

General serpentine belt info that might help

A Goodyear serpentine belt is labled with 4 digits and "K" number. The "K" is your number of ribs. The first 3 numbers are "inches long" and the 4th digit is for tenths of an inch. For example a 1025K6 is a belt that is 102 & 5/10ths inches long. So your belt should be a 0770K6 or K60770 depending if it is Goodyear or Gates. But there could be different types of labeling. As long as you have those numbers you should be able to get them at any decent auto parts store.

Just measure out what you need and see if it exists.

Also be sure to account for the tensioner having a slight load on it.

I just finished gutting out the climate control tower from inside and most of the miscellaneous AC lines from the engine bay in my R56 2009 JCW.
(It's off for a full cage next week)
Just to confirm:
You can remove the AC compressor and just run a shorter belt.
This belt to be exact: Dayco Serpentine Belt 5060273
And this is the belt you are "shredding" every 5 months?
Or in other words about every 30 hours of run time?
Thanks
And nice car by the way!

Aux belt “AC” delete

Part number for belt is 6pk700

apologies to bump an old thread, but this is the belt needed if you remove your AC altogether
