Orlando Fl mini walnut blasting

Anyone in or near Orlando with a walnut blasting setup? Im almost at 100k on the odometer and last time I had the intake off it looked kinda gross.

If anyone has the equipment and is down to help me out I’ll do a full detail on your car!
carpet, recondition leather, clean vents, exterior, wheels and tires, claybar, buff and wax

I’m a photographer by trade so I could also offer a pro photo shoot of your car after it’s been detailed!

Id much rather barter for services than pay the stealership or another local shop that charges 100+ an hour for labor so let’s make this happen!

Thanks!

I’ve seen the diy but my primary concern is that I don’t have a decent compressor or the space to do it (apartment life) and I’m definiteley not going in there with a gun cleaning kit.

I’m not in a rush so I’m sure someone will come along eventually who’s already done it and has the setup.

Plus I’d rather meet another mini owner and make a new friend!

If you are in Houston, I can do it for you for cheap. I have the kit and the compressor in my garage. I walnut blast my car every oil change.

Thanks Yuptec! I really appreciate it! I’m in Florida for now but I do make my way through to Dallas tx every so often and Huston wouldn’t be far out of the way coming from fl. I’ll send you a pm if I head that way any time soon!

I live in Cape Coral Florida. I believe thats like 3 hours from Orlando. I just got done walnut blasting my 2009 Clubman JCW. I don't think it was ever done on this rare car. Runs like a dream now. That was my first time and had no problems. Let me know if Cape Coral is to far.

just as an FYI, Sunshine Minis began as a forum like this site back in 2002 and was very active for a long time. The site is still there sunshineminis.org but its days are numbered as all 'action' has moved to FB.

There's a running discussion now about what to do with the website - bottomline is nothing has been added there in a year and most current folks don't want to use a forum (even this one) cuz they are 'facebooked'. Add to this the guy who was paying to keep the forum up isn't interested anymore.

At one time most MINI groups around florida exchanged their info on SSM and it was easy to keep track AND LOOK BACK for answers to questions already asked. Now, there are dozens of FB groups and every question is new each time it is asked as search is impossible ..... I like to jerk their chain and point 'em to the forum and post a link to a thread discussing their previously asked question ...

long live NAM!

Hey furnitureman,
Cape Coral is quite the drive through fl on coilovers! I’ve got a pretty packed schedule for the next few months so I couldn’t make the trip any time soon but I will definitely take you up on that when I can free up some time! Thank you!
