Do you need to remove wheel arch attachments from body when reinstalling the arch?
Or can the attachments be left on body?

Wheel arch removed.

 

Right side & center tabs ready to fall off left side on it way.
Crimped steel not made to last long.
Stripped Repainted a new bumper.

 

Excuse to clean thing up & work on the rust on rear frame!

 

That center tab on mine is rusted badly too.

 

Appears to be a disposable part?
The bottom edge is rusted on mine center tab is gone & sides also.
The price of a nwe bumper is worth keeping the cover stable.
Time to strip & repaint was silly but maybe worth better coverage.
Tho it will not come off however even with out the three tabs.

Since I had a touch & go with a Lexus it seemed like time to also revisit the front bumper, plastic cracks. & the frame under the engine was also rusting; scrape sand acid por-15 treatment.
