Often stages are just marketing terms as many companies put together all kinds of kits calling them various stages of tuning.
Now with that said if you want a Manic stage 2 tune you need at least a larger intercooler

and downpipe. We makes ours as one solid pipe so there are no welds besides the flanges. And our flange on the turbo is 1/2inch thick to never fail and not warp.
