Is there a way to turn the light off in the boot? (For example, while camping?)

I guess you mean that you want to open the hatch and leave it open, and manually turn off the light. Have you tried the main interior light switch? It will disable interior lights if you press and hold for 3 seconds, or a single click should work for one time. Anyway, interior lights will automatically turn off after 20 minutes.

 

I guess you want to turn it on and off ? Otherwise , unplugs the bulb.
