Downpipe + Ceramic Coating

Is it really worth having this done? I'm going catlesss Evolve Downpipe for a manic stage 2 tune. Is this worth almost $200 to have done or should i just not worry about it. I was looking at 2500 grit ceramic coating from Jet Hot

You could do it yourself with the new air dry coatings. http://www.cerakotehightemp.com/finishes/

Do you have it done to yours and if so how much was it? It has peaked my interest. Thankyou.

Is there any tangible benefit to doing this? I'd really like some answers to this question if anyone could please help. I would like to install this down pipe this weekend if i don't need to coat it. If it will be helpful though i will do it! Thanks in advance for the help!

I got mine ceramic coated and I got some wrap from Pepboys. .. Cost was $80 for the coating and $40 for the wrap and metal straps. IT HELPED ALOT and keeps the hood scoop a lot cooler... and I drive the heck outta my car every day...

I'll have to get it coated then. I've heard bad things about the wrap stuff though. Is there any truth to that? I've been looking at swaintech white lightning. JetHot wants way to much money.
