I was involved in an incident on my 2007 Mini Cooper S. Air bags deployed and now it wont turn on or even crank. If anyone can help me out on what steps to take, what to replace, what to check. Advice would be appriciated. 😁

 

I think there is an automatic battery-disconnect that is triggered by air bag deployment.

 

From what I'm aware of there is a device on the battery terminal called the battery safety terminal (BST), which basically disconnects and wont allow the vehicle to start. You may need to replace it. I believe it's on the positive terminal. Look at post #18 HERE.

 

I would start trying to see the error codes that are stored now in your car since your are trying to start the engine.

Surely you will find error codes related to airbag and some of the parts that are being mentioning in the this thread.
