E**y Thermostat housing

Would any of you trust an E**y Thermostat housing? You can get one for about $50.00 shipped. The most economical one otherwise is about $90.00 shipped. Please let me know if you've gone this route.

Check ECS Tuning...Not for the thermo housing or anything to do with the cooling system, Just my opinion, My Stealership had one cheap so I paid about the same as ECS Had and no shipping..

I wouldnt begin to consider it if they wont share with you the maker and part number.

In this case, considering the consequences of a leak, I wouldnt even be looking at the 90 part..

Go to trusted place to buy thermostat. There are few makers for it. Go for the one genuine one. I replaced one last year. To get to it, it took lots of removal. Mini thermostat housing is complicated with multiple ports (>5). Lots of hose removal. I got one from EC tuning. If you are going to do it yourself, the last big hose in the back cannot be removed. The hose (rigid) is sandwiched between water pump and thermostat. Therefore, you need to grap the entire thermostat housing and pull the housing away from the hose.
