Misfires are the hardest thing to figure out on any car. It could be anything from fouled plugs, bad coil, to the HPFP. You have to start with the basics and begin diagnosing. There's no magic formula to figure things out. Good luck and make sure you report back.

If you're hungry for some reading material, do a search for P0300 and search titles only. That should keep you busy for a couple of hours.

HPFP is less common in N18's and hardest to replace of the three common issues.

I'd start with plugs and see how those look. If you plan on replacing anything, again I'd start with plugs, then coils, and lastly HPFP.

how many miles do you have on the car? I would start by checking the plugs first. does this only happen when it's cold? than it warms up and no more misfire?

You may notice the problem when you pull out the spark plugs. Completely fouled up and check your coil packs for rust on the sleeves. Check and replace plugs, coil packs if necessary and only use quality products.

My 2011 S had the same issue....multiple misfire codes, lean condition codes. HPFP was the problem.
