I would guess it's telling you to apply the brake. Perhaps to change gears from park. Only a guess, I've never seen this one. Sent from my iPhone using NAMotoring

According to the manual, you've pressed the start button without stepping on the brake..

The electrical is funky in these cars. Mine tells me a light is out yet I cannot find a light out. I ignore it, but it's annoying.

Ha - I had that puzzle earlier this winter.
Turned out I had 2 back-to-back minor light burn-outs: one was 1 of the 2 rear license plate lights (took me a while to spot it).
The second occasion, two weeks later, was a parking light in the right rear wheel arch. Nearly impossible to spot in direct sun light, I only found it parked at night in the garage.

HTH,
a

P.S.: I also went through multiple lower fog-light "running" light bulbs over the years.

Makes sense. Some times it shows up and sometimes it doesn't. Just started to happen recently. Had my car for 7 years. Thanks. Do you know where in the manual? I couldn't find it. I had gone to the Mini service a few weeks back and they didn't know. Fail. They wanted me to pay like $150 for a diagnostic testing or whatever.

It's at the end of the manual under 'Indicator and warning lamps', page 175..
