CarXenonHIDkits.com.....PLEASE HELP

Has anyone ordered HIDs from this company before? i just dropped 120 bucks on some and im having the worst customer service so far. It took multiple emails just to get my tracking order, and when i finally did it show a package being tracked to fayetteville georgia... i live in fort myers florida. I finally called the customer service hotline, and selected the customer service option..it was all automated and sounded legit, but then the person who answered the phone was a dude who you could tell was driving around in his car..

Am i getting the run around here, and if i finally do get my package, is it going to be a quality product>

Sorry to hear about the bad luck. Was it through their site or another like Amazon or ebay? Did you pay with CC or paypal?

Also, is this just a drop-in HID kit or some sort of projectors too?

It was through their site, and I paid with a debit card. I mean the site looks so we put together an professional, but it seems like I'm speaking with just this one guy every time. Maybe the kit will be decent and his business is just bigger than he can handle and that's why the service sucks. Package should be to me soon according to him but I still don't have an accurate tracking #

It's just plug and play hid kit, 10,000k 55w with slim ballast and warning cancelers

If these are going in stock halogen reflectors, you're probably gonna end up blinding oncoming vehicles. It's hard to get a clean cutoff with reflectors that weren't designed for HID. 10,000K is gonna be pretty far into the blue color scale also. I haven't lived in FL for quite a while so I don't know the laws there, but in VA it's an invite to get stopped and ticketed. As to the original question. . . I'm not familiar with the vendor, but hope you get your parts soon.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some QUALITY HIDs from a company that will deliver proper customer service? I really want 8-10k 55w...willing to spend up to 120 bucks..i just emailed this guy again and demanded my money back.

Its been over a week when the website says 1-3 days, the Shipping method they state on the website is USPS expidited mail, and the tracking number they gave me was for FEDEX shipping, and it was the wrong tracking number. Also the amount taken off my card wasnt the amount shown on the invoice, i was charged 109.00 and the invoice showed 119.00, i STILL havent gotten the correct tracking information.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

But the issue is still so much blue and so so much glare. If you want to do it right, don't drop more than $35 on a drop in kit, but instead invest in vision and spend almost $300 and get the projectors and HIDs and do it right...from TRS. I have done it and you can to.

Carxenonhidkits only sells the HID bulbs/ballasts, no housings/headlamps. you can't just put in hid bulbs/ballasts in a halogen headlamp, the light will go everywhere and it'll **** everyone off around you. if you want a real hid setup look for the xenon conversion thread on here. you need an HID lense with cutoff, that's what theretrofitsource supplies you with. hence the word retrofit (to retrofit your current headlamps). their stuff is great quality, have heard great things. for $120 you won't be finding HID headlight housings anywhere

FINALLY today is friday, and the kit showed up...nowwwww im in another bind. this isnt like any other HID kit ive installed on my other cars...theres a "control" harness, warning cancelers, ground wires...its rather confusing. it came with a diagram that shows how to do it. but im not entirely sure how to...thinking i might swing by the fort myers mini dealership and see if a tech can lend a hand...

Did you go in? I would be surprised if they would help as it isn't an OEM part or even a direct replacement from an aftermarket company (even that can be difficult)...not to mention the fact that it is illegal and they wont want to take any part in that.

It would be the same I bet if you asked the to install a catless DP.

I see what your saying for sure, I found an install video for the same kind of set I got, makes wayyyyy more sense then the diagram they gave. It's still a lot more cable and wires than a normal drop in set. German cars make everything harder.

it's only hard when the parts are designed for the car.

Here's a question, will a dealership install the factory xenon head lamp units? If I have the halogen? I got the HIDs installed and I'm not happy with the light reflection and ability to see any better. So I'm returning them for a refund..

I spoke with someone at the retrofit source, they said the wiring for a retrofit on the new minis is tricky, the closest install shop for their products is 3.5 hours in Miami...they said they may not even be comfortable doing the retrofit swap for me.

What are my options or legitimately improving my night driving vision?
