Exedy clutch ??

Hi all,
So I have a 2010 mini cooper s that has about 44k miles and long story short my stock clutch went out. I was looking into different replacements and came across Exedy. I was just wondering if anyone knows if it can be used on a 2010?? from what I saw on their site the clutch works for up to a 2007, but not positive if it will work for a 2010. Or does anyone know of a good clutch to replace it?? I`m a full time student so funds are not very high but I can afford something not too crazy. Thanks in advance!

Warranty? Unless you are highly modified, stick with the stock clutch. Many threads on aftermarket clutches failing prematurely.

If you're a student still, just get another stock clutch. You can get a kit for about $330. The only other option is OS Giken but it's not for someone on a budget! The MINI in general is not a car for a budget minded person

The Exedy clutch for the 2007 is for the R52 that was the last supercharged MINI in that model year.

Actually that would be 2008 for the R52

Ok, question is: Is there a difference between the clutches from 2008-2010? I called Exedy, and he said he just never cared to look lol and the last year they make clutches for was the R52 (2008).
If the spline on the transmission is the same size, and the flywheel has the same bolt pattern, then all should work just fine..
Does anyone know if there are any differences (physically) between the years?

Your mini is the R56, I wouldn't use a clutch made for the R52, but I don't know if they are physically different. I know the engine is.
