MINI R56 Cooper S, performance gain approx. 10 BHP and 12 lb.ft Torque

The OEM downpipe on the MINI R56 Cooper S has a 400 cell catalyst which is restrictive for flow and power. The evolve de-cat downpipe removes the catalyst and is 2.5" in diameter which provides more flow, more power and greater throttle response as the turbo spools up quicker. Made from T304 stainless steel. This is for those that want to extract maximum power from their cars. Recommended for track use only.

Can be fitted to standard exhaust.
Currently they are priced at 227 w/o shipping.
For this group buy 5+ will get the De-Cat Downpipe for $260 Shipped!

Long time no see Alex! Great deal on the downpipe. I think a lot of people would be interested in group buy pricing on a downpipe + exhaust package

Also, do you know how much the Evolve cat-back exhaust weighs and how it compares to the stock exhaust?

I'm in for the decat down pipe.

Will Evolve provide me with an updated map? I already have the cable and stage 2 tune.

What about the Evolver-R I was just discussing tuning and mention the idea of a group buy on another thread earlier today, excellent timing.

There are no cats and I believe the exhaust is 3inch, I will have to double check in the morning.

Our demo R56 Cooper S is currently running the full turbo back system (decat) and is producing (flywheel) 261 BHP/299 lb.ft torque with an intercooler, intake and evolve remap on our Dyno Dynamics rolling road.

Dyno results on Dynojet Rolling Road:

Base figures.................................172 BHP/181 lb.ft Torque
evolve cat DP + OEM exhaust..........179 BHP/186 lb.ft Torque
evolve cat DP + evolve exhaust.......185 BHP/192 lb.ft Torque
evolve decat + evolve exhaust........188 BHP/199 lb.ft Torque

Note: These are peak figure gains. Some gains are greater through the rev range – ie the area under the curve.

Dyno Charts

evolve decat DP + evolve exhaust

evolve sport cat DP + evolve exhaust

Any idea if the vehicle would pass an emissions test with your catted downpipe? I have an 08 MCS and here in New York a yearly sniffer is part of the inspection. Would a CEL be triggered?

Also, are your HP/Tq improvements with the factory exhaust?

Thanks,
Mike

Numbers are with stock exhaust, and I believe that with the Hi-flow you will pass. If you are interested please let me know

you didnt get yours? I will have them resend it again!

Also, I know many of you want Exhaust or FMIC. Here is the deal, I am going to have a few of them in stock in our US warehouse, this will cut down on the shipping price I had quoted you. I will be sending you a pm with more details!

Any confirmation on the exhaust pipe diameter?

Can you post pics of the undercarriage fit of the exhaust system and or the components of the system?

Thanks
