My car just spent the last 24 hours at the dealer getting "re-programmed". Upon return I noticed that the trip meter display has moved. It used to be to the right of the odometer, now it is directly above it. In addition to it moving, the trip meter is no longer displayed when a different option is chosen (temp, MPH, avg. speed, etc.) In the past, the trip meter would stay shown to the right of the odometer when any of the aforementioned options were chosen. How do I get it back to the right of the odometer? Please see attached photos.

 

That's interesting. I didn't know you could have your tripmeter displayed at the same time as your temp and mileage. My display actually looks the way yours is now after being programmed...

 

Same here. Took mine in for service and they loaded latest program...no more trip. I hope they fix this as I've complained to management.

 

Now that I know it could do that, I'd like to have that as well on mine! It is very useful to be able to see the temperature and tripmeter at the same time as opposed to one or the other.

 

I think this can be "fixed" with NCSexpert.

I have a 2011 MCS and the same thing happened to me when the dealer did a software update recently. I also lost the lane change feature of my turn signal. Before the update, if I pushed the turn signal up or down without going far enough to "click it" i would get 3 flashes....enough for a lane change, now that is gone too. Any ideas?

 

Same thing happened with my "3 flashes". I have MINI Connected and I fixed it by going into the "Settings" options and then "lighting" and check "triple turn signal".

You're serious? The latest software update for your car changed the way the trip meter is displayed and when it is or isn't displayed and you complained to management? You complained to your dealership's manager about a MINI update, and one as menial and asinine as "My trip is no longer displayed when other little tid bits are displayed"? Wow...
