Mini Kill List

What cars have you been able to pull away from? Either from a dig or a roll. What I'm wondering is your "kill list" of cars that you have been able to get away from? If you wouldn't mind, could you list your mods and any videos? Thanks!

Firstly everything I have done is on the "track"(people frown upon street racing here). My list: 91 Integra, Nissan 350z, several R53 GPs(soon to be R56 GPs), 80s Caprice, Sentra Spec V, Various Civics, Various Accords, and that is all I can think of right now.

+1 You're dancing on the edge, OP.

Toe to toe with 2008 Carrara S up to .2 mile... On Federal property with no speed limit. Owner was astounded at the maneuverability of The Dread Pirate when driving back.

San Diego Motoring, thanks for the video! Very cool!

I attended my first track day about a month ago and it was a lot of fun! I'm amazed at the Mini's capabilities in the corners. I feel a lot more confident than in my Miata with oversteer.

Yah....that video I just stumbled across. I lost count of how many cars they passed up....and what types they are. I don't recognize the make and models as the MINIs passed them up so quickly. Can someone please make a listing of the cars killed....

Here is the hyperlink again...just in case you can't find the link above.

What surprises me is how JCW R56 Turbo and doesn't wear a helmet. Hanging out...even waving 'bye bye' to one of the cars as he rockets past them.

I go to the Nurburgring a lot (I live 90 min from it). There's a lot of people that don't wear helmets there.

I haven't raced my JCW yet since its still new for the most part, but in my 350z I was passing all sorts of people. Even on the autobahn, I surprise a lot of people with how much I can keep up with them.

Just because they have a good car, doesn't mean it's a good driver behind the wheel. Can't even tell you how many wrecks on there I've seen.

I don't keep notes, but I checked the video and the last couple of times I was out at the track in Tristan (ie a Justa Cooper) I passed:

Porsche Cayman
Corvette
several M3s
Chevy Camero
Porsche 911
Lotus Elise
NSX
Mustang (Boss 302, Laguna Seca edition)

I didn't pass many other cars in my latest track outings, even though I've been driving the JCW instead, I've been in the advanced group. I did pass a couple of Caymen and several M3s.

Lots of G35s including mine (did 3rd gear pull) and a friends with uprev tune exhaust and plenum
350z (old style non hr motor)
R32
New V6 camaro w auto (dont know why im even mentioning it but hey they run low 14s stock)

07 mcs with light wheels, straight 2.5 pipe turbo back and jcw muffler, k&n drop in and either unichip with damaged ecu or accessport depending on when it was

Its not a fast car but its a damn quick car with the right setup and will catch people off guard if they dont know what to expect.

Um, did he pass a minivan at the 2:07 mark? WTF kind of "race" was this?

I seriously think that some of the "kills" mentioned in this thread were people that didn't know they were in a race.

Here's what I saw out of it. And yeah the minivan was my favorite.
1. BMW 3 Series/M3
2. VW GTI 1.8T
3. MINIVAN
4. M3
5. E30 BMW 3 Series
6. M3
7. M3
8. A Turbo Euro Hatch I'm not familiar with. Seat or Scirocco or something?
9. M3
10. Another unfamiliar Euro Hatch
11. E30 3 Series
12. Volvo or Mazdaspeed 4 door

Just a guess, but I think some of those BMWs were track rentals, so probably driven by relatively inexperienced tourists doing their first lap or 2 of the ring in a rental care with a high insurance deductible. Compared to the two Mini drivers who are obviously very good and know the course well. I'm sure the Mini drivers could do a faster lap in the M3 than their fastest lap in their Mini.
