Did this as well and carried my spare for a while. However, I ended up putting my seats back in to hide a few bits in the boot.

It is a good possibility! I will eventually put it back in, perhaps for the summer. My storage unit gets pretty humid in it and I didn't want the seats to get ruined.

Technically you still have a usable back seat, it just has a booster seat on it now,

Since I have passengers in mine, rear seats don't seem stupid to me.

110% agree. I might eventually take mine out. I don't like having passengers in the back because I am tall. Plus I don't give ferry people around, I bought the MINI because I love to have my alone time, one on one that is

Good job on deleting the rear seats!

I've had my MINI 3yrs but no human has ever been in the back seat. I have yet to meet anyone I dislike enough to offer them a ride in the back.

"Since I have passengers in mine, rear seats don't seem stupid to me."
lolol, how do you even fit people back there? My 1 year old in his child seat didn't even have leg room! he had to rest his legs on the top of MY seat! haha. After I saw that it was an easy decision to rip them out!

"Technically you still have a usable back seat, it just has a booster seat on it now"
haha...touche!

"So did you take them out? Because I took mine out."
Not sure if that was to me but...yes. I took them out.

Lmao!!

Yes that was directed toward you as I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one removing my seat belts.

Porthos...dude, haha, my bad! I totally misunderstood your comment. I thought you were asking me if I took my rear seats out. I was like, uh..yeah...hence the picture! lol.

Actually, no, I haven't taken the seat belts out yet. But now that you mention it, I don't know why I didn't think to do that along with the seats. I'll take them out this weekend! Is it easy to do so?

A clean rear seat delete is the bee's knee's, but a spare tire inside the cabin isn't the best air freshener...

Who cut the rubber?!

I took my rear seats out the first day i had the car. A few days later my buddy sat back there. Since i have not had anyone sit in the back except my dog. Still yet to build a delete to cover it tho.

I've kept thinking about taking out the rear seats but I always have that what if in the back of my head and no one ever sits in them. cambo, your picture is making me rethink it because I have a spare in the trunk area and that looks real good in there. How secure is that belt to hold that sucker?

I agree that the rears are pretty useless (except for packages). However, they probably hold down road and tire noise.

My buddy Kalibdor has his rear seats out and told me that it does increase the noise.
