R56 I got a owie
I got a owie
Ah, I love city life! Stopped at an intersection waiting for the pedestrians to cross and I get rear ended on the way home
. Now through the insurance and all, what should I be worried about aside from the cosmetic damage and the lights? Is a 20 mph love tap enough to give me suspension woes?
Just got my chrome interior kit in the mail too.

A good body shop will check everything to make sure there are no hidden suprises. Mosy insurance adjusters know there could be hidden damage and they will get additional info when the body shop takes it apart. I would not worry.
If you go to trade it in later they will probably insist on deducting
$1000+ for it. Even if it is fixed perfectly. That's what I've been seeing/experienced.
Not sure though selling it outright.

I'd just check to make sure that the hatch is closing flush still. Other than that, as Braminator said, the body shop will find it. Don't worry and just look forward to getting it back all cleaned up.
what kind of car hit you? interesting how your bumper is damaged, but the exhaust tips arent (as it appears in the dark photos).

My wife got rear ended in rush hour free traffic. The body under the passenger fender flare got kinked. The bodyshop had to put the car on a rack and pull out the kink. No suspension parts had to be replaced, but they did have to do work on it (see repair sheet below).

My wife's car seems to have more damage than yours (see dent in hatch), but she was able to drive it fine with the damage. It appears a Toyota car (not truck) hit her. It was a hit and run.

Update :
The other guy's insurance Co. is stalling. I have to take my car to their body shop before they will acknowledge liability. This will entail taking the day off of work, and their guy looks a little shady. I've been trying to have my insurance company run the process, but it's been 2 weeks and nobody has even looked at my car. Any thoughts? DIY?

Have your insurance company fight them for it. You shouldn't have to go to "their" body shop. You should be able to get it fixed anywhere you want. Unless its one of those "The General" insurance companies.
Sorry about the owie, Grinch.
Hope your insurance company treats you well. Mine did just fine with repair - just not so good with the rental...
And I don't know about having to take it to their body shop. It's YOUR car and you get to choose. My insurance (GEICO) wanted me to go to *their* body shop. I said "no thank you" and they never balked. They will always first refer you to their authorized shops, but that doesn't mean they're better. In my case, they were definitely worse and known locally as a hack shop.

Always insist your insurance company handles the negotiation and issue with theirs. If their company is stalling yours should cover and go after his.
That is if you have a good insurance company. Mine has always taken the lead to handle EVERYTHING. I simply tell them "this is where I'm getting it fixed, go deal with it".
