M7 Splitter Install HELP!!!!!

First before anyone flames me for not using the search function...............I am a dummy!!

Second before anyone flames me for not calling M7.................they are closed and I am still a dummy!!

I have two questions that I should have ask M7 when I ordered the splitter .................but please remember I am a dummy:

Can I install the splitter without the turnbuckles??

Can I attach it to the lower grill and if I can.... HOW??

Flame suit is on!!!

Thanks for any help or advise! I hope I don't get another infraction for the stupid question.

Yes, but reinforce the back end so you won't need the holders.

Lower grill? You mean the black honeycomb area? I guess you -could- but I wouldn't. The grill isn't the sturdiest thing out there(basically hanging on by a single honeycomb). I would just sandwich 2 washers and the grill in between if you really want to. I think it'll look weird though.

Or do you mean the lower part of the front bumper? In which case, that's where it's suppose to go.

You need the turnbuckles!!!!! They keep that thing from ripping off your car at high speeds, well that is what they are supposed to do anyway. If you don't use them you may loose the splitter on the highway.

Why? Cause they're silver? You can always get other colors.

Based on wind tunnel tests the front splitter generates over 150 lbs of down force at 110 mph . The turnbuckles are there for a reason . As was mentioned earlier you can paint them if you like to make them less noticable .
