Sounds like a sensor is out. Inactive means no signal from sensor, hope that helps.

Not that I am any help here, but I do not think the 07 cars had a sensor in the tire. I thought they counted rotations of the wheel. Meaning a low tire would actually have a smaller circumference and therefor would rotate more. The reason I am thinking this is I had a 2008. When I bought it there were posts that you could not use the old valve stem caps on it. The old ones were metal and they interfered with the antenna in the valve stem. This did not affect the 07 since they were different.

I believe the TPMS was an option in 07 you could upgrade to, or they had a mid-year addition of the TPMS system (from the RDC) in anticipation of the 2008 mandatory requirement. Take a look at your valve stems on the wheel, if they are black rubber with the brass threads under the cap you do not have the radio sensors, if they are silver colored with a nut holding it against the wheel and threads all the way up the cap you have the sensor in the wheel.

So if that is indeed the case, one or more of the batteries has probably gone out in the sensor units inside the wheels. [Side note: If you have an extended warranty at the dealer or access to dealer-level software (like DIS or ISTA) the battery level of each sensor can be determined.]

No, unfortunately the batteries are sealed in the TPMS unit. And in order to gain access to the unit, the entire tire has be dismounted, the unit replaced, and the tire remounted and balanced. I recommend going to Discount Tire if you have one in your area.
