R56 Update on Scangauge II Codes
FP- I get nothing on my 2013 :(
Water temp 175 ~195 sport mode - 200~224 degF non sport mode
Oil temps, generally 20 degF higher than Water temp (this has been typical with every car I ever owned).. Slightly higher on the highway.. I let it get within 20 deg F of water temp before shutting down the car.
A/F varies all over the place, frankly it's too slow to be useful..
I look at Volts and Instant Fuel Econ.. In conjunction with Deg F W and oil.
No discernible change between Engine Temp and Water Temp.

@ SoundMessage, the voltage will indicate alternator and/or elevtrical problems. The voltage with the engine on should be around 13.X V, but if it fluctuates (usually lower) by a few volts, then your alternator might be going bad....
My voltage is consistently 13.9 to 14.1V when the car is running.
Water temp is 220-222F. The sport button does nothing for water tem. Driving hard or AC on max will drop water temp down to 175F or so. I've never seen it over 224F.
Intake temp is roughly 3-4 F above ambient (just cruzing along...) maybe 30+f over if I'm being a hoon... (Alta intercooler) But honestly, if I am being a hoon, I'm not looking at intake temp...lol
I really haven't bothered looking at any other functions. I figure if water temp starts going up, then there's a problem, and I should check into it further.
