R56 What kind of bumper do I have?
What kind of bumper do I have?
Trying to find some options for a lip to cover up some of the really bad chips that I have on my bumper, I don't see very many MCS with this type of bumper, someone help me out, possibly point me in the right directions for some lips for it

edit: the bottom of the bumper was plastidipped, but was removed soon after.

Oh! those... Yeah I think you'd have to go straight to mini and get that...The only bumper that has different lips is the JCW one, and even then you'd have to go straight to mini for them

Like I said, you can get the black piece on the bottom straight from Mini, or you'd have to repaint the bumper, if it's the painted parts you want.
No one really makes that part, except for the JCW bumper like I said, and that would have to be straight from Mini as well.

To clear things up, this is a stock civic with a front lip. It is connected to the bumper.

Maybe this clears things up a bit.
Sorry if this came off *******ish, it's not meant to be, You've helped me out a bunch already :D
Yes, I understand that :P
Again, I don't know of any company that makes those for our cars. People usually just add splitters, or for the JCW bumper swap it out of one that's slightly longer
And that doesn't seem to be a cover, rather a direct replacement for the standard S bumper

Stupid owner before me :/
Yea I know, $1000 for the cheaper materiel, it is really nice and clean though.
Well actually there are companies that do make something similar to what SnugNuts is looking for but they are in Japan and are VERY expensive.
They actually do not "cover" the area you are talking about they only replace the bottom part of the bumper which is removable (the black plastic part) the painted part of the bumper just below the lower grill does not get covered.
As for the one in the pictures it is made by 3D Design and their info it this.

and if you think those are expensive at $1000 then wait until you see the price the Japanese ones are. They start around $1k and go up to well over $12k depending on the item and then you have to add shipping from there to here which some people have had calculated at well over a $2k to start.
