trustworthy alignment in MD

Anyone have any recommendations for alignment centers in Maryland, particularly central Maryland (Carroll County area)? I'm not too far from Mini of Baltimore County but I have a feeling they would charge much more for an alignment than a lot of places. Though if it seems like the best option I might just go with them anyway since I need to get that water pump replaced due to the recall.

Ed York Automotive in Mt Airy. He should be able to give you what you want or need.
Should cost about $90. There is nothing magically different with a MINI that it should cost that much.

(Ed's a long time BMW CCA member, SCCA championship winning racer, a good honest mechanic, and generally a good guy. All SCCA Washing DC Region spec Miatas have to be tested on his in shop Dyno.) A Dyno Dynamics obtw..

350 to 400 seems very high for an alignment. Check with Mach V Motorsports in VA, they can do them and I don't think that it will cost that much.

Wow! $300-$400 is high. Alignment is all labor and shouldn't take more than an hour. If dealership labor rate is $100 or so per hour. Figure it out.

thinkinmini - Try www.daisyautocare.com in Woodbine, Md. they work on imports, had my new wheels installed at ridiculously good price. They do alignments. Ask for Ben, the owner and tell him Giggles sent you! Just not open on Saturdays. They do good work!

Thanks for the info Dan. I knew that it was about that much but didn't want to speak for you.

FYI, Dan and crew do a great job and are highly recommended.

Mr. Tire (in Baltimore, it's pronounced "Mistar Tar."

As a tire shop, their alignment jobs are important, so the tires don't wear too rapidly. So they keep their racks in good shape (or at least that's what they tell me.) I had an alignment done at a dealership, and two weeks later at Mistar Tar, and the Mistar Tar rep just laughed when I said I had it done at a dealer.

And here's a 20% off coupon. That'll bring it down to around $80.
