Some serious. I hate people sometimes.

 

Since I have a LMAO VTEC euro plate hanging from my back window I'm always having Hondas trying to race me...however I always find cobalt SS's trying to race me more often though

 

Well, I just had to drop my 2c in the pot.
Bermuda is like one big autocross track, or two lane mountain road. I always get some idiot that doesn't know a thing about cars trying to race with me. They'll pull up to my bumper, fake into the oncoming lane to indicate they wanna go. Little do they know what lurks beneath the hood of my MINI. Or they think that I have a NA Mini and I just put the CprS exhaust on and hood for show, dumb idiots.
I wait for the next set of corners and put my foot down, they can't keep up. It's so damn funny. I let them catch up before the next straight stretch of road where they think they can outrun me, wait until they get to my door and floor it in 3rd gear, leaving them there floundering for brakes before the next oncoming car meets up with them. Once they realise what they're racing, or trying to race, they're good for the rest of the drive. Gotta love having the only CPR S on the island but no, I don't condone street racing. I just like teaching idiots a lesson every now n then.

 

Mostly rednecks, thinking that they're hard and tough in their lifted trucks, want a piece of my MINI and sometimes some civics that have their mufflers sounding like a pissed off bumble bee... No chance

 

I actually had someone in a Jeep Cherokee try to race me last weekend... it was interesting. Even though I didn't race them the passengers still gave me a thumbs up and what I guess you'd call the "rock on" hand.

I've had three or four people try to race me in my Justa. I'm a goody-two-shoes on the road so I don't give in, although it is tempting some times. :P My boyfriend has an S that people are ALWAYS trying to race. Mostly Hondas and Camaros. His also looks a lot more "aggressive" than mine... pepper white/black with viper stripes, blacked out chrome.

 

Raced a decent sounding Honda EK that sounded like a swap. got him off the light and stayd a car length.

Raced my wife in my Z, (her in the MCS).... pulled away without any probs

 

It happens all the time. I love this car for its sleeper abilities. Sometimes its some guy in an old muscle car. Sometimes a Civic or and Acura RSX. I'll even let them get the jump on me and I'll take off in a higher gear. They are shifting through 2 or three gears, chirping tires while I am in one gear and pulling them. I love to do just enough to win. Makes them try all kinds of things but it is just never quite enough. It is great fun this car. And don't get me started what you can do if there are a few corners and the other car is any kind of Toyota or Lexus.

 

Yesterday at WalMart - some redneck in a mid-90s Mustang, with a fart-can sounding exhaust and his hood rattle-canned matte black (I think people here thinks this replicates carbon fiber? You sure see a lot of it here...) tried to race me in the parking lot.

 

I heart vtecs with fart cans. They never give up...

 

All the time... I rev back and then watch them burn 2 inches of rubber off their tyres as they race away while I just drive normally. I still chuckle every time that works...

 

The only people that try to race me are in 90's civics, otherwise I get left alone. I get asked if my exhaust is stock all the time because of the pop and burble though. Sean
