Hey guys (and girls), never thought I'd see the day I became a Mini owner. Always thought they were WAY outta my price range, until I stumbled upon a deal yesterday at a local dealership. Found a deal on an 09 model with 28,000 miles for a pretty sweet deal. Went from driving a Dakota getting 11mpg to my Mini getting 32mpg today. Imagine how ecstatic I am :D
Glad to say I'm part of the club, absolutely loving it so far.

 

Congratulations! I like that color combo of the lighter blue and white. I was just congratulating a colleague on her purchase of a MINI. Wow 2 new owners in one day. You did well for yourself in the MPG category. I have a MCSC 09 model and on my best day with slight traffic I manage to hit 29mpg. My average, with approx 45,000 miles is 28.2 mpg and an average over all speed of 30mph. But that's DC traffic for you! I still have fun driving the MINI, and spring is right around the corner.

Congrat's. I am convinced that when you consider purchase price, performance, mileage and "fun to drive" quotient, a MINI, especially MCS or JCW is the best "personal transportation" solution on the planet. Happy Motoring!
