Nice. Why did you decide to go from a JCW to a base? j/w

I figured the MINI is a fun car so might as well choose a fun color. I was actually somewhat disappointed in the colors for the hatchback, but fortunately spice orange was a choice. I went back and forth on many options, but never wavered on the color. I would love to have an MCS in the CM pure red, which is actually a red/orange in bright sunlight. Very cool color, but I really like my SO with black stripes and trim. I just got an email yesterday from Aesthetic Creations that my black door handle covers have been shipped so those and the gas cap will finish my blackout. I'm leaving the scuttles as they are.

I had the AccessPORT tune on my S also. The warranty was up in 2 months, I was getting a little nervous.

The standard cooper with manual shift is very fun to drive. No turbo related problems to worry about. Time to slow down also. I actually drove a GTI before buying the new MINI. Did not like the VW.
