This is Samuel L....

2012 MCS Midnight Black

Just over a week old from delivery and he already has a DoS CAI (love it) and blackout from Vinyl Styles. Door handles to be blacked out with custom covers from Aesthetic Creations within the next week or so. "Cooper" to be shaved shortly.

Spring will bring lowering springs and a powder coating of the wheels black.

Looks superb! I must say, though, that my previous car was a '98 GTI in black, and my hobby car is an MG Midget, also black... I hope you like washing your car all the time. Black shows EVERYTHING.

Have fun, though, that's a fine looking MINI. Samuel L. is a cool name, but don't forget "Mr. Cooper."

Want to trade for some Black stock wheels My 2012 came with those on it but I really wanted the JCW challenge wheels! (Had to buy off the lot due to a total loss car)

You can make that baby completely black! The wheels have just over 2k on them and are mint!

Very nice and stealthy! Well, at least at night...

Yup, black is a detailer$ dream. Already notice my black roof needs much more care than the iceberg body.

Yeah I'll be having someone else wash it. If I did it I'd do worse than putting it through a brush car wash. I just suck at it. Don't ask why. Yes I've tried. But I think I may have found a guy that lives nearby that details and can do it for me. So every few weeks I'll get it taken care of. More in the winter and monsoon season than the rest of the year.

Porthos, nice pic...totally forgot about that hilarious skit.

Thanks for the kudos guys!

Damn! Good looking MINI! I love black ones, especially when they are all blacked out. They look really good slammed with some BBS RS rimz on them. Every other color in the R56 looks like poop with BBS RS's.

P.S.- Got my custom door handles in from Aesthetic Creation and it was a pain in the *** to deal with them, and 2 months of waiting time, but the final result is awesome.

I've heard they're super easy to put on. Met up with a guy who's had them on his R53 for quite awhile and he popped them off and then back on with ease.

Yeah, they literally take about 1.5 seconds to install.

I'm still waiting and had I been fully aware of their policy beforehand I would have NEVER ordered from them. I hope you're right about them being worth it.

OP, sharp car!

I spoke to Hannah at AC last week and she said 2 weeks till they are done. They had a backlog and were getting a large batch done. I'm expecting mine by the end of next week but I live in Phoenix so mine won't have to come far.

Agreed. Lowered + the black wheels will make this car super-mean.

Nice looking S BrewSwapGuy. What % tint did you get?
Glad you got your stuff from Aesthetic Creations, I can't even get them to call me back or answer an email. And I was going to have him do my whole car. Sorry I had to rant a little

If you are interested in getting black wheels, mine are going to be off my car before I even sit in the car. I have a guy they maybe interested in your wheels and I would just give you mine. Everyone wins! Let me know if you are interest?

What part of town do you live in? Maybe we could meet up after I get my car.

I haven't gotten the covers from AC yet. The black trim is from Vinyl Styles.

I am interested in the wheels. Will PM you.

I'm up in North Phoenix (N of the 101, E of 17).
